You Won’t Be Able To “Resist” Watching This Supergirl Extended Promo

Now that Rhea's endgame has been put into action, the stakes on Supergirl have never been raised higher as Earth-38 now has a full-scale alien invasion on its hands. As it turned out, all that jazz involving out of control Phorians last night was the fault of Mon-El's mother after all.

Having established that Rhea intends on turning this planet into New Daxam, it looks like Supergirl and the DEO will be forced to align themselves with Cadmus in an “enemy of my enemy” scenario that we can only hope doesn’t lean toward saying that the xenophobic organization was right the entire time.

Beyond that, one has to wonder how this will pave the way for the arrival of General Zod, whereas Superman’s involvement in the coming season finale seems a bit more self-explanatory – the planet is under attack and he’s needed. Still, the producers have somewhat of a plot hole to deal with now that they’ve pretty much admitted that Batman exists in this universe on more than one occasion, so that begs the question as to where him and any other possible members of the Justice League are in the midst of an extinction level event.
