Charming Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette is underway and has introduced viewers to her suitors as well as a potential new lead for The Bachelor from the pool of rejected Bachelorette contestants.
ABC will probably not announce who its next Bachelor is until the “After the Final Rose” episode, but there are some interesting theories being floated around online. So, where are internet sleuths getting their information from? First, be warned as the rest of this article contains spoilers.
Speaking of which, that’s where fans have been getting their information from: spoilers from magazines and reality TV detectives like Reality Steve, who recently revealed The Bachelorette’s final four contestants.
Members of Bachelor Nation know that the final four finalists of The Bachelorette are very likely candidates for being cast as future leads, but not always. Exceptions are made for fan favorites from previous seasons, as well as the occasional red herring who comes in out of nowhere.
So, who are the eligible young men up for the role of being the next Bachelor?
Charity’s Brother, Nehemiah
He’s handsome, he loves his sister, he’s a children’s dentist, he’s single. What’s not to love? From what viewers have seen so far, this man is every woman’s dream, and very likely every mother and father-in-law’s dream, to boot. Nehemiah charmed viewers by pretending to be a bartender on his sister’s season. He tricked the contestants by pretending to be an innocent bartender while secretly spying and reporting back on what her suitors were saying about their intentions. But even though this man is a catch, there are still other fish in the sea.
Joey Graziadei
This Hawaiian tennis professional has an athlete’s body and chiseled cheekbones. Most women in search of serious suitors are attracted to men who prioritize family, and Graziadei says his family is very important to him. His father came out as homosexual when Graziadei was a child, and he states this made him a more empathetic and accepting adult. Graziadei also claims that he is ready to be a father and start a family of his own. What a catch! If Charity doesn’t claim him as hers, this finalist might just be the new Bachelor lead. Who else is in the running?
Xavier Bonner
There have been many competitors over 20 seasons of The Bachelorette. Many of them have been accomplished, kind, intelligent, and muscle-bound. But Xavier Bonner is the coolest Bachelorette contest to date. You see, Xavier Bonner knits. He is a scientist. He is fit and objectively good-looking, and he is considered a top contender to win The Bachelorette this season. Viewers on Twitter have been confessing their massive crushes on Bonner.
Dotun Olubeko
Dotun Olubeko is yet another strong contender who finds himself in Charity’s final four group of potential partners. This Nigerian-born suitor is an integrative medicine specialist and owner of a health coaching and fitness instruction company, so he is very accomplished! Here’s where a little detective work goes a long way: since Dotun has not been officially cast on Bachelor in Paradise yet, that means he is single. And what does being single mean? It means that Dotun didn’t win Charity’s heart, and is free to become the next Bachelor!
John Hersey
John Hersey is a former contestant from Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette. Thurston eliminated him quite early in the competition, but then she came back for another chance at love with him. Thurston and Hersey dated for a second time after she left the show. However, the second time around ended in a breakup, so John was single. It is not yet official if he is on Bachelor in Paradise, but what is known about John is that he seems to be a nice person, he loves travel and adventure, and he is the proud owner of a cute dog. So, are there any other possible Bachelor leads? Yes, there’s one more name being thrown around!
Tyler Cameron
Tyler Cameron is a model with Soul Artist Management in New York City and Next Management Miami in Miami, a general contractor, and a successful YouTuber with over 84,000 subscribers. He was on track to becoming a pro football player but was forced to abandon that dream after a shoulder injury. Tyler is famous for being a good guy as a runner-up on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. He famously made feminist statements on Brown’s season and defended her after some other contestants behaved in a sexist way. Tyler was previously in talks to be the next Bachelor but he rejected the offer at the time. However, many fans would love to see him be the lead, and Tyler could change his mind.
While the official announcement has yet to be made, those are the strongest contenders for the Bachelor lead. We’ll will keep you posted as more information becomes available!
