Tulsa King was released late last year on Paramount Plus to raucous reception, managing to outdo the performance of even the mighty Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon. Naturally, the Sylvester Stallone-led mob series was quickly snapped up for a second season.
While it was always a given that Stallone would be reprising his role as Dwight Manfredi in the sophomore season, it’s been a little less clear-cut as to who will be joining him in his return. However, we now know of another returning face.
Martin Starr recently confirmed that he will be back as Manfredi’s reluctant business partner, Bodhi, when Tulsa King returns, during an interview with Comic Book while promoting the third season of Party Down. While Starr only featured in two episodes of the hit series as the owner of a marijuana dispensary, it’s neat to note that he will be making a return.
Tulsa King drew in quite a large crowd when it was first released, undoubtedly in no small part that it was Sylvester Stallone’s debut television role. Of course, series writer Taylor Sheridan’s previous credits on a little show called Yellowstone was almost certainly of additional help. Following its release, the series lead offered up his thoughts on the ‘brutality’ of the television world.
We don’t know exactly when the show’s second season will release, or even when it is set to resume filming for that matter – but we’ve compiled everything we do know right here. For the time being, you can stream Tulsa King’s first season over on Paramount Plus.
