‘That ’90s Show’ offers what might be most apt description of the internet ever

Several say it was one of the funnier jokes in the show.

Right now, you can watch the fine That ’90s Show on Netflix, with the reboot of sorts serving as a sequel to the initial show. It touches on several parts of the time period, and one in particular really hammers home the accuracy of how things are in the modern era.

The above tweet has a lot of people concurring with the sentiment. Several say it was one of the funnier jokes in the show, and for one user, it represents Twitter each and every single day it has existed over these past few years.

Because this is social media, others in replies and retweets are reminding Netflix of the campaign to save Warrior Nun, which has put a billboard to dave the show outside of their window, and for those focused on That ’90s Show, the pining for a whole lot more is intense.

As well, another adds Debra Jo Rupp’s Kitty Forman has such a good retort she wins the internet itself.

Whether the show will get more episodes remains to be seen. For now, it has 10 which are all available to watch. We gave it three out of five stars in our review, director Kevin Smith was pleased to be mentioned in an episode, and while the show has featured a number of returning characters, Danny Masterson’s Hyde will not be one of them for obvious reasons.
