There’s been some debate between Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) lately about filling the Sheriff in on all the behinds the scenes happenings. As much as Stiles was against it, the opportunity presented itself again on tonight’s episode of Teen Wolf and he just couldn’t postpone the inevitable any longer.

It’s ironic that Miss Blake (Haley Webb) put the idea in Stiles’ head to look at the entire board, considering what we now know about her. Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) may have not been very receptive to the idea of supernatural beings at first, but I have a feeling that it won’t take long before he fully accepts the concept. Especially considering that he has found himself face-to-face with one nasty looking one tonight.

All I wanted was for Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) to have a normal relationship. Someone that could anchor him to the world outside his own hopeless reality. Someone that could teach him to open himself up again to the possibility of letting people into his heart, besides those of his own creation e.g. his Betas.

Well that desire has clearly gone out the window – literally.

Miss Blake was positioned so cleverly as the innocent victim that unless you were looking for a reason that she was all wrong for Derek – which some of you admittedly were – then you would have never seen it coming. It did seem a bit off that she so readily jumped in bed with him while he was suffering from some pretty severe gashes across his body – something that would have grossed most people out. And, she didn’t have too much trouble wrapping her head around the entire supernatural lifestyle that Derek has going on – something that a normal person might have taken a few minutes to adjust to.

In hindsight, we probably should have seen this coming. Although, it was fun for a few episodes to imagine Derek as the happy-go-lucky in love type. I guess it doesn’t really go along with his character. When he finally falls in love again, it should be with someone that he has to fight for, someone who plays hard to get – a trait Miss Blake didn’t seem to exhibit.

How will Derek take it when he finds out that he’s been betrayed again? His life has been a series of unfortunate events and this is just another one to add to the list, but that doesn’t make it sting any less. Given his romantic history and his inability in general to let people in, this is going to be a huge blow to him. Plus, his sister is now in the hospital and strangely unable to heal herself.

Cora (Adelaide Kane) came down with a case of whatever this is at the most inopportune time. If only she’d been able to show the Sheriff her true self it would have made things run much smoother. What do you think Sheriff Stilinski would have done if she had ‘changed’ right in front of him? My money is on fainted, how about you?
