FX’s hit motorcycle drama Sons of Anarchy is rolling out its very own aftershow following the season 6 premiere next week, but you won’t be able to catch it on the network itself.
Unlike how we’ve seen other channels set it up, Anarchy Afterwords, the aptly titled aftershow, will be streaming live on its very own website – www.anarchyafterword.com.
The show will debut immediately following the Sons of Anarchy premiere on September 10th at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT, and is scheduled to air live three times during the season – September 10th (season premiere), October 8th (episode 5), and December 10th (season finale).
Anarchy Afterword will be hosted by Chelsea Lately comedian, Chris Franjola, and will air straight from the SOA set. On the first episode, Franjola will be joined by Kim Coates (‘Tig’) and Jimmy Smits (‘Nero’), plus Emmy and Grammy-nominated comedienne and actress Margaret Cho, who hosts her own web series.
Fans can look forward to uncensored interviews with Kurt Sutter (‘Otto’), creator and showrunner of Sons of Anarchy, the cast, and a slew of celebrity guest stars. If you haven’t caught any commentary from Sutter before, this will be a great opportunity to get some insight from the mastermind behind SOA himself.
Sutter has always made himself accessible to fans via Twitter (@sutterink), and the show is following the same template. Fans will have 3 options for asking questions: a toll-free call-in number, the Sons of Anarchy official Twitter account, and their Facebook page.
Season 6 opens with Jax (Charlie Hunnam) trying to put his family life back together after Tara (Maggie Siff) is arrested on chrages of conspiracy to commit murder. With Clay (Ron Perlman) behind bars after being framed for murder, Jax will finally have a chance to steer the club in the direction his father always wanted.
