Mona was always somewhat on the periphery, whereas Ezra was right smack dab in the center of things. He made himself cozy in the inner-circle, which granted would be really convenient for anyone posing as a friendly to gather information, but it’s still hard to believe that he’s really the elusive mastermind behind some pretty messed up happenings.
Either way, at least we know (er, think we know) that it was Cece (Vanessa Ray) who killed Wilden (Bryce Johnson). That’s one mystery we can put behind us. With Ashley (Laura Leighton) finally cleared of the crime, Hannah (Ashley Benson) has one less thing to worry about. Since her time with Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) is coming abruptly to a halt, a new man waiting in the wings, and the possibility of her dead best friend being alive to contemplate, her mental capacity will be tapped.
The sorority mother that the Liars spent a couple episodes looking for earlier in the season made an appearance on this episode of Pretty Little Liars, and she came complete with an interesting story and a very curious warning. The night Alison (Sasha Pieterse) went missing might have had more twists to it than anyone suspected.
Over the past 3 seasons the Liars have spent a considerable amount of time piecing together the events of that night and the summer leading up to it. What I want to know is how Aly managed to pack so much into that one evening?
After leaving the Liars in Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) barn sleeping off the effects of whatever secret ingredient she added to their drinks, she: met up with Ian (Ryan Merriman), got into a fight with Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) and Aria’s dad, and did what else? For a teenage girl, she certainly got around, and it looks like despite the body they found under the DiLaurentis’s gazebo, she might still be. Who is this girl? A real-life Jane Bond in training?
Mona is in the clear for now, and she’s teaming up with Shana (Aeriél Miranda), which means Jenna (Tammin Sursok) and Melissa probably aren’t far behind, and we know that they are now aligned with Wren (Julian Morris). Whatever ‘A’ intended to do to Mona, he/she has either failed, or is waiting for another more dramatic moment. The Liars are on their way to crash a party that might lead them to Aly, or face-to-face with Ezra. Emily (Shay Mitchell) didn’t really do much in this episode except play an excellent victim. And, everyone’s worlds are about to take a turn for the creepy when Ravenswood turns into ground zero for World War ‘A.’
