Right now, I’m willing to once again state that The Flash‘s fifth season has been consistently impressive. I may have had good things to say about the premiere, sure, but you can really never tell how quickly the show as a whole could potentially go downhill. That said, I’ll ask you to recall the earlier episodes making up the previous season.
So, while we wait for the STAR Labs squad to uncover Cicada’s secrets, we’ll turn our attention toward another new threat arriving in Central City, that being Rag Doll. Originally imagined as a nemesis for Jay Garrick, it’ll obviously be Barry Allen who’ll have to square off against this guy in the live action realm. And though Rag Doll’s been around since the Golden Age, he hasn’t received too much exposure outside of the comics – barring the animated series The Batman, of course.
In this instance, it’s real life contortionist Troy James of America’s Got Talent fame doing the honor of bringing this unique villain to life. And if the gallery of newly released images found below are any hint of what’s to come, Rag Doll will be just as creepy as we’d hoped. Conversely, one could also look at the pics and think him to be a very good listener based on how his head is tilted.
Speaking of good listeners, the slideshow seemingly previews several scenes showing the principal cast engaging in deep conversation. What caught my attention was the heart-to-heart involving Iris and Nora, with the latter holding a journal of some sort looking to contain Kryptonian glyphs. Well, that’s how it appears from my perspective, at least.
