After releasing a handful of covers centering on Game of Thrones‘ powerhouse female leads, EW today gifted fans of the show with six new images for the upcoming sixth season.
The photos range from series screengrabs, like a blind-and-badass Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) wielding a new beat stick, to behind-the-scenes production shots with actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and director Jeremy Podeswa. The whole cast (well, the ones that have survived) will be returning in a season that showrunner David Benioff claims has no weak episodes.
The new images also give a glimpse at Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) and his meet-up with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow), a storyline that’s been absent from the series for an entire season. According to EW, Bran’s return back onto the show “will take viewers into iconic moments from the past, present and future of Westeros.”
It might seem like a lifetime of eternal winter, but the sixth season of Game of Thrones is set to debut in just under a month, on April 24.
