The entertainment options for crime fans are constantly expanding, as the genre continues to grow in popularity among audiences. Following in the footsteps of franchises like Law & Order and CSI, in came NCIS, airing its very first episode in 2003 as a spin-off to JAG.

Over the years, NCIS‘s success has led to the creation of its own franchise, which includes four spin-off series, namely, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawai’i, and the upcoming NCIS: Sydney. In reality, we were supposed to get one more, NCIS: Red, but it never saw the light of day, despite its main characters making appearances in the two-parter Los Angeles episode, “Red.” Why this particular spin-off was canceled while the others rose to success we may never know, but alas, we move forward. There’s plenty of NCIS content out there, anyway.

But what even is the point of having several TV shows co-existing in the same universe if you’re not gonna have crossovers? Thankfully, NCIS-verse fans never have to wonder about this, as the franchise has provided more than enough crossover events to keep them occupied for a long while. If you think the crossover episodes only happen within the NCIS franchise, though, think again. Shows like JAG, Scorpion, and the 2010 reboot of Hawaii Five-0 have also become entangled in this world, and are therefore considered part of the NCIS-verse.

Naturally, fans of the franchise looking to revisit its many crossover events want to do so in order, but with so many episodes to sort through, this can be a difficult task. To aid you in that process, I’ve compiled a list of every single crossover episode in the NCIS-verse and organized them by release date.
