With Lucifer out of the cage and doing some vessel hopping, things have certainly gotten interesting this season on Supernatural. And after having one last hurrah in the body of rock star Vince Vincente this past week in “Rock Never Dies,” it seems he will truly go onward and upward in the midseason finale, “Lotus.”
Following the premiere, we suspected that Lucifer would engage in a power struggle for control of Hell with Crowley, but now we know that he has no plan, which may make him even more dangerous. In fact, he really only intends on smashing “as many of daddy’s toys” as possible.
[zergpaid]Still, The Fallen One has something grandiose in mind, as we have gotten word that he aims to sit comfortably in the White House. Will his deal with the president place him in one of the most powerful and influential vessels he could hope to find on Earth? Or does he wish for something else? Whatever it may be, one thing is for certain: this series has really stepped up its game when it comes to midseason finales in recent years and our first impression tells us this one seems to be no different.
