Marvel and Netflix debuted our first teaser trailer for Jessica Jones a couple of weeks ago, but stylish as it was, it didn’t actually give us a look at any live-action footage from the upcoming TV series. Now, a new international promo rectifies the situation with a brief, but pretty awesome glimpse into the life of a former superhero without much reason to get out of bed in the morning… or evening, as the case may be.
The teaser popped up over at a Spanish Facebook page, and features Krysten Ritter as the titular Miss Jones, reacting to her alarm bringing her out of a drunken stupor by demonstrating her impressive super-strength. This sets the tone very well, and would seem to be a suitable introduction to the troubled character that was first introduced in the pages of Brian Michael Bendis’ Alias comic series. Following this and that first batch of official stills last week, a full trailer can’t be too far away as we get closer to the show’s November premiere date.
Starring Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachel Taylor (Trish Walker), David Tennant (Kilgrave) among others, the 13-episode Jessica Jones series will premiere on Netflix November 20th, 2015
