Thanks to the crazed exploits of one Jerome Valeska, Gotham has received what could nearly be described as a red band trailer. Granted, we did get a glimpse at what’s to come in the winter finale, “Mad City: The Gentle Art of Making Enemies,” earlier this week, but now we have a much deeper look.
In addition to peering into the future, this new “Jerome Reborn” promo clocks in at around three minutes and looks back at how the show’s version of the Joker has arrived at this point. From humble season 1 beginnings to Cameron Monaghan’s show stealing performances in season 2, this trailer displays what the Batman prequel series is capable of when it’s firing on all cylinders. Not only that, but a few highlights from the most recently aired episode can be witnessed as well.
While the future remains unclear when it comes to Jerome, one can only hope that he’s given more opportunities to return. After all, now that we know Harley Quinn is showing up in some fashion in the season finale, it would only make sense for them to cross paths next year, right?
For more information concerning next week’s episode of Gotham, be sure to check out the official synopsis below:
