After a protracted wait for season 3 of Ted Lasso following season 2’s cliffhanger ending, we’re finally, and thankfully, in the midst of the third run of episodes for what is arguably Apple TV Plus’ biggest hit series.
Of course, eventually all good things end up coming to an end – while we may still have a handful of episodes of Jason Sudeikis’ titular soccer coach bringing up everyone around him (while battling with his own demons), eventually we’ll be saying goodbye once again.
So, with that in mind, how many episodes of Ted Lasso are we getting in season three? Let’s take a dive in (without committing any fouls) and find out.
How many episodes in Ted Lasso season three?
With its eighth episode “We’ll Never Have Paris” airing last week, Ted Lasso season three is officially two thirds of the way through its run, with four episodes to go out of 12 total. This means we’ve got a month worth of fresh episodes to enjoy before the AFC Richmond squad bid farewell to us, perhaps forever.
Around the time the third season of Ted Lasso debuted, series star Jason Sudeikis made it quite clear that the story arc that the showrunners intended to tell before Ted Lasso first appeared on our screens would reach its conclusion alongside the end of season three. Fan and studio demand may make the winds sway differently down the line, but for the time being it certainly seems like we’ll be saying goodbye to the cast of Ted Lasso in about one month’s time. Let’s enjoy it while it lasts.
