The Flash EP Wants To Borrow Mister Terrific From Arrow

In case you hadn't heard, The Flash is getting a new showrunner for season 6 in the form of Eric Wallace. Having already been part of the team behind the scenes, the new head honcho should prove to be a fitting successor to Todd Helbing - and he really is making sure that we the viewers are kept on our toes going forward.

If you’d like for me to cite a few examples before moving on, it’s worth mentioning how the upcoming season will have two big bads – one pre-Crisis and one post-Crisis. The first one, of course, is the monstrous Bloodwork, but nothing is known about who’s following his act. And if that weren’t enough, Wally West will return to Central City at some point, no doubt putting smiles on the faces of many fans.

Well, if Wallace is to have his way, he’ll be able to pluck a notable hero from Arrow, revealing the following to ComicBook.com at San Diego Comic-Con:

“I was talking to Marc Guggenheim about this a couple of weeks ago. I said, ‘how can I borrow Mister Terrific and get him on The Flash for a while, because I really love the guy?’ I’m not saying that’s happening immediately but I’m certainly going to try.”

Considering how actor Echo Kellum is no longer a series regular over on Arrow and has since moved on to other projects, it may actually be up to him as to whether or not he can appear on The Flash. But if he’s game for it, I’d sure like to see him mixing it up with Barry, Cisco, Caitlin and the rest of the gang.

Alternatively, Wallace could adhere closer to the comics by bringing the actual Michael Holt to his own series. But if indeed it’s the Curtis Holt version of Mister Terrific he desires, then he has no choice but to wait for Kellum. Time will tell.

The Flash returns with new episodes on Tuesday, October 8th on The CW.
