The CW has released an extended promo video for the next brand new episode of iZombie, “The Hurt Stalker.” This particular episode looks to be a treat for those who appreciate dark humor, like myself, as Liv consumes the brain of a stalker and will temporarily inherit their more charming traits.
Considering that Liv is very close to unraveling the mystery of disappearing zombies in the Seattle area, which Major is responsible for, as well as uncovering his sordid affair with her spy of a roommate, her consumption of stalker brains should make for some interesting payoffs as we creep toward the mid-season finale. Let’s hope that she doesn’t get herself in too deep as some promo photos show her in lockup.
Matters will be further complicated when Detective Clive Babineaux finds himself the prime suspect in the very murder that he and Liv are investigating. You see, the murder victim happened to be stalking Babineaux before meeting an untimely demise. Keen eyed fans should recall the woman surveying his house in “Abra Cadaver.” Considering that his character has been more fleshed out in recent episodes, it will be intriguing to see where the producers take him next.
For even more details, check out the official synopsis below:
Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) arrives at the crime scene of a wedding planner who was shot to death, and is shocked to realize that he used to date the victim. To make matters worse, we learn that the murder victim was stalking Detective Babineaux, and that he is now the number one suspect in her murder. Liv (Rose McIver) and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) pose as an engaged couple in order to infiltrate the victim’s wedding planning business. Meanwhile, Major (Robert Buckley) is having a tough time dealing with Liv on stalker brains. Michael Wale directed the episode written by Sara Saedi (#208).
iZombie returns Tuesday, December 1 at 9:00 pm EST on The CW.
