Ingeniously titled David Tennant Does A Podcast With…, Tennant introduces this complicated concept in the video below, in which he reveals his impressive line-up of varied guests. These include Whoopi Goldberg, Samantha Bee, Ian McKellen and even former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

See for yourself:

Tennant fans will also be pleased to see that the podcast will reunite him with many of his co-stars from such hit shows as Broadchurch and Jessica JonesAmong others, he’s lined up the newly Oscar-nominated Olivia Colman, Marvel star Krysten Ritter, Tennant’s Good Omens co-stars Michael Sheen and Jon Hamm and – Whovians pay attention – the Thirteenth Doctor herself, Jodie Whittaker. And, as the actor says in the video: “That’s just the ones we’ve recorded so far.”

Just to prove he hasn’t lost his distaste for Twitter, Tennant can’t help but reluctantly read out the places you can follow @DavidTennantPod online, adding: “It’s the work of the devil, isn’t it?” If you’re unlike Tennant and are all over social media, you can follow the podcast on Twitter, Instagram and view the preview for the series on iTunes.

Of course, David Tennant’s podcasting doesn’t mean he’s taking a break from acting. Far from it, in fact. He’ll soon star in Good Omens, a co-production between the BBC and Amazon based on Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel, and he’s also developing two new comedy series: Fuddy Meers, opposite Krysten Ritter again, and The Americons, with former Doctor Who companion Catherine Tate.
