At this point in your life, you don’t need me to tell you how time flies when you’re having fun. In fact, it felt like just yesterday we were waiting for our favorite Arrowverse series to return for the fall. I mean, not only are the new seasons well underway, but the “Elseworlds” crossover and midseason finales will be here before we know it.
Proving that they’ve come prepared, The CW have formally announced the dates for their midseason premieres. And though we tend to place most of our focus on the superhero shows, those of you who dig the other dramas comprising their prime time lineup won’t be forgotten.
That said, here’s the full list in chronological order:
Friday: January 11th:
- 9/8c: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (midseason premiere)
Tuesday, January 15th:
- 8/7c: The Flash (midseason premiere)
- 9/8c: Roswell, New Mexico (series premiere)
Wednesday, January 16th:
- 8/7c: Riverdale (midseason premiere)
- 9/8c: All American (midseason return)
Thursday, January 17th:
- 8/7c: Supernatural (midseason premiere)
- 9/8c: Roswell, New Mexico (encore of series premiere)
Friday, January 18th:
- 8/7c: Dynasty (midseason premiere)
- 9/8c: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (new episode)
Sunday, January 20th
- 8/7c: Supergirl (midseason premiere)
- 9/8c: Charmed (midseason premiere)
Monday, January 21st
- 8/7c: Arrow (midseason premiere)
- 9/8c: Black Lightning (midseason premiere)
Thursday, January 24th
- 8/7c: Supernatural (new episode)
- 9/8c: Legacies (midseason premiere)
As you may have noticed, the lineup originally presented in the fall is holding firm for the most part, with the only major change and addition being the incoming Roswell, New Mexico now following The Flash on Tuesday nights. Black Lightning, meanwhile, will stand alongside Arrow on Monday nights.
When it comes to Legends of Tomorrow, fear not, because it’ll reclaim the 9 pm slot on Mondays beginning in April of 2019 once Black Lightning wraps its season. In a way, this is similar how Legends and Supergirl tagged each other in and out during the previous broadcast year.
