Your Complete Guide To Every Marvel TV Show Currently In The Works

Have you noticed that there are currently a whole lot of superhero TV shows around? Well, of course you have - you seemingly can't get away from capes and cowls on the small screen at the moment. It's a fairly even split between Marvel and DC for TV dominance, too - e.g. DC have The CW's Arrowverse while Marvel have their Netflix shows - but it looks like the House of Ideas will leave their Distinguished Competition far behind in the dust very soon.

Cast and crew: No names attached as yet and Marvel hasn’t even officially confirmed it, but the show is reportedly being pitched to various networks.

What to expect This sitcom will focus on the New Warriors, a team of glory-hunting teen superheroes. It’s thought that the star of the series will be fan-favourite Doreen Green AKA the unbeatable Squirrel Girl.

Why you should be excited: It’s another fresh take on the MCU, which will feature a popular comics character we never thought we would see on screen.

John Ridley’s Marvel Series

Release info: TBA, ABC.

Cast and Crew: No one except Ridley himself at this stage.

What to expect: Here’s a surprise. Academy Award winner writer John Ridley – of 12 Years a Slave fame – is reportedly developing a new TV series at Marvel based on a pre-existing comic book character. And that’s all we know right now.

Why you should be excited: Because it’s an intriguing project from a talented creator. Who knows what the series might be….
