We’re only one episode into the seventh season of Arrow, but I think we can all agree on how it’s given us much to ponder very early on. Already, we’re wondering what the heck is up with those flash forwards involving Roy Harper and an older William, not to mention when Oliver Queen will get out of prison, and just whom the new vigilante prowling Star City may be.
Well, thanks to Green Arrow TV, we may know when some of those answers will arrive, as the titles for episodes 6-10 provide some seriously strong hints. Before we proceed any further, let’s take a look at them:
#7.6 “Due Process” (November 16)
#7.7 “The Slabside Redemption” (November 23)
#7.8 “Unmasked” (November 30 (Tentative))
#7.9 “Hour Two” (December 10 (Crossover) — we also figure that the full title is “Elseworlds: Hour Two”)
Knowing that lead actor Stephen Amell shaved his impressive beard after filming the seventh installment, one could say the stars are certainly aligning for Ollie to be a free man following the events of “The Slabside Redemption.” Whether that occurs by the book or via escape remains to be seen, but you’ll definitely want to park your rear in front of a TV on November 23rd.
Additionally, it wouldn’t be foolish to assume that “Unmasked” is when the mysterious new Green Arrow will be, well, unmasked. Showrunner Beth Schwartz already confirmed the big reveal will occur at some point this season, but the “tentative” air date means we can’t be too sure if it’ll go down on November 30th or December 3rd – or if episodes 8 and 9 were shot out of order.
The final entry on the list shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone reading this, for it’ll serve as the second part in the “Elseworlds” crossover. So, if you ever wanted to see Amell suit up as the Flash, this’ll be your chance.
Arrow airs on Monday nights on The CW.
