Taste the happy, Netflix subscribers – producer Brian Grazer confirmed on the Adam Carolla Show podcast this week that Arrested Development will begin production on new episodes for the streaming giant sometime next year.

“Netflix is determined to do more epsiodes, so we’re going to do more episodes,” Grazer told Carolla, noting that everything is only just falling into place for a fifth season of the beloved cult comedy, which was famously revived for an online fourth season seven years after Fox originally pulled the plug. Reviews were mixed-to-positive on Netflix’s continuation, and the series was such a reputation-booster for Netflix that it makes sense that the company would want to double down on more Bluth misadventures.

Production will start early next year, Grazer said, and fans can expect to see new episodes “four months after that,” so in the late spring or early summer of 2016. Grazer told Carolla that this is only now hardening up, and he actually informed creator Mitchell Hurwitz of the green-light from Carolla’s greenroom right before coming onto the podcast.

Grazer previously revealed that 17 new Arrested Development episodes were in the works, with all of the main cast members signed on to reprise their roles. That includes Jason Bateman, Portia De Rossi, Will Arnett (involved elsewhere on Netflix due to his animated series BoJack Horseman), Michael Cera, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Water, Ron Howard, Judy Greer, Mae Whitman, Henry Winkler, Liza Minnelli, Carl Weathers, Ben Stiller, Scott Baio, Debra Mooney, John Slattery, Tommy Tune, Terry Crews, Isla Fisher and John Krasinski.
