There have been numerous nods to Hal Jordan in Arrow and The Flash over the past couple of years, and his iconic jacket was even glimpsed in a recent episode of the former. With years to go until the Green Lantern reboot, you’d think that all of this might be building to Warner Bros. trying to win over sceptical moviegoers by re-introducing them to the character on the small screen first, but there’s no indication of that being the case.

If the well-known Green Lanterns are off limits, bringing in the Alan Scott version (who has no affiliation to the Green Lantern Corps) might be the way to go. He’d certainly make for a fantastic addition to Legends of Tomorrow‘s team.
