2) Bullseye
Those who sat through the whole of the Daredevil movie may question this choice, but despite his mistreatment on the silver screen thus far, Bullseye is Daredevil’s arch nemesis and deserves to appear on the show. Executive producer Steven DeKnight recently confirmed via Twitter that there are no plans to feature the iconic villain in upcoming episodes, but if the show is renewed for a second season, Bullseye’s inclusion should be a must.
The assassin Bullseye may not possess superpowers, but his ability to transform any object into a weapon makes him the most deadly adversary Daredevil has ever faced. From pencils to playing cards, literally anything can be utilized by the expert marksman to complete his hit, a skill that has cost Murdock dearly in the past.
In the comics, Bullseye has killed not one, but two of Daredevil’s most significant lovers, making it impossible to deny the impact that this arch nemesis has had on Murdock’s life. The showrunners are understandably afraid of using Bullseye in an attempt to distance the new show from the critically slated movie, but once the series has become established, it will seem foolish to ignore the huge dramatic potential that this character can bring to the show.
As long as the producers avoid using an Irish accent, that dumb costume, a weird forehead tattoo, exaggerated acting and casting Colin Farrell in the role, then they should be good to go.
