The queen of the myopic hypocrites strikes again. Elected dunce Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote another nonsensical post to social media, this time attacking “elderly” leaders with “failed political careers.” Weirdly, she doesn’t mention Donald Trump (who turns 77 in June) or the fact that the one-term, twice-impeached, indicted former president is facing a whole basket of investigations into all aspects of his life. So weird how that works!
It’s almost like she just says things that apply to everyone except her and the people she likes. Is she really this dumb? Before we dive in, a little background: Every two years at the beginning of Congress, a Senate minority and majority leader are elected.
Right now, 81-year-old Mitch McConnell is the GOP leader in the Senate. Greene thinks he’s too old now.
“The days of staying in office until near death need to end. Our country is on the verge of collapse because of these elderly office holder’s failed political careers,” she said.
She then uses one of her favorite words and also something she doesn’t have any of: shame.
“Shame on any elected official, and their family and staff, who cling to power while mentally and physically deteriorating.” Hmm, that sure does sound like someone with orange hair who wears makeup and lies about everything.
“Our country and our future is at stake and these politicians won’t live to see our downfall that they helped create.” That sounds like projecting but OK.
She then praises McConnell, who seems to be preparing to retire.
Of course, everyone was quick to point out the blatant hypocrisy.
Does she even have a mirror?
The simple response:
Until next time Greene says something ridiculous! It’ll be soon.
