Long-time news journalist and political commentator Geraldo Rivera, who is presently one of the five hosts on the Fox News show The Five, slammed Marjorie Taylor Greene tonight and called her an embarrassment to the country.
Geraldo, never one to hold his tongue or avoid sharing views that his fellow conservative peers would never dare, blasted the Georgia congresswoman for her constant irrationality that, quite impressively, rivals Lauren “Bobo” Boebert in the House of Representatives, which might as well be coined the House of Horrors whenever either of the two speak.
Greene has continuously gained popularity amongst her constituents, though her outlandish statements and her recent appearance on 60 Minutes may prove foolish to even those constituents in the long run, as Geraldo’s present frustration suggests. On the program, Greene was unsurprisingly cringeworthy, referred to the Democrat party as the “party of pedophiles,” and denied suggesting that Nancy Pelosi be shot in the head despite liking a Facebook post that stated exactly that after Greene herself called for Pelosi to suffer the death penalty.
Tonight, Geraldo couldn’t help himself over Greene’s continuous nonsense and took to Twitter to slam the Blonde Bobo, writing, “Marjorie Taylor Greene is an embarrassment to Georgia and the United States. Her radical rudeness has stripped the House of its dignity, such as it is.”
Predictably, Geraldo didn’t exactly receive overwhelming applause in the replies to his tweet since many of the responses obviously follow the Fox News pundit for his conservative views and thus – as is the curse of political parties – expect him to show loyalty to the elephant clan.
A former friend of Donald Trump, Geraldo got into hot water last September with MAGA conservatives by saying – thanks to Trump’s all-too combative term as 45 – that he would no longer vote for the combover king.
Controversy arose amongst Republicans over Geraldo’s statement, making one realize he would find more conservatives happy with him in Al Capone’s vaults than on the bird app.
It would be glorious if Greene responded with an insult that only she would find funny, like blasting Geraldo’s mustache or something similarly nonsensical.
Geraldo will almost certainly double down on The Five, though it likely won’t deter Greene from remaining the queen of cringe.
