Back in May, Zedd began teasing a companion documentary for his 2015 sophomore album True Colors, sharing a trailer online to get fans pumped up for the film. The True Colors documentary premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival over the summer and was followed by a question and answer session with the producer himself as well as an acoustic performance. Now, fans will finally have the chance to watch the film in its entirety as Zedd’s documentary becomes available for streaming.
The doc was directed by Susan Bonds and Alex Lieu, and follows Zedd throughout the creation of his sophomore LP. The True Colors documentary seeks to give fans an up close and personal look at the life of its subject, with plenty of stunning concert footage, interviews with family members and insight from Zedd himself. The documentary also follows the ambitious promotional campaign for True Colors leading up to the album’s release.
The True Colors documentary is available for purchase now via iTunes, and can be downloaded for $12.99. Head overĀ here to grab your own copy and start watching, as this is one EDM documentary you won’t want to miss.
