If a British Board of Film Classifications listing is to be believed, then a Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition release could be on the horizon. Posted recently, the rated title post features next to no additional information. However, a re-release certainly isn’t out of the question. After all, the game released to great reception last spring, and has become the fighting game of choice for many. It’s understandably difficult to pass up the chance to break a digital opponent’s bones while using x-ray vision.
Based on the Komplete Edition title, one would be safe to suggest that this version will come with all of the game’s previously-released DLC. That would include character packs like the nightmarish Freddy Krueger add-on. Hopefully that’s the case. It could provoke those who previously passed Mortal Kombat up, to give it a fighting chance.
As per the rating post, the game is expected to re-launch on February 17. At least, in Britain. We’ll keep you updated when we hear more concrete details.
