Tomorrowland is arguably the electronic music massive that marks the height of festival season. As such, its artist announcements send shock waves through the atmosphere that can be felt across the globe.
It’s hard to top the recent announcement that deadmau5 and Eric Prydz will be curating their own stage at the festival, but its organizers have managed to follow it up with a handful of heavy hitters regardless. Axwell /\ Ingrosso and Alesso will hold up the Swedish progressive house end of the spectrum, with Solomun giving tech house some representation.
The Boom, Belgium festival Tomorrowland has become a staple of the electronic music world since its 2005 inception. The promoter, ID&T, organized Atlanta festival TomorrowWorld as a joint venture with the company that bought it out, SFX, but due to the latter organization’s financial woes, the former has distanced itself from its recent North American dealings.
Tomorrowland itself will take place July 22nd-24th. In light of the festival’s recent lineup announcements, let us know if you’re looking forward to going by paying a visit to the comments section.
