If you are not extremely online or even just generally aware, you might not know author Stephen King has a liberal perspective and frequently tweets. He’s gone viral before, and now, his latest burn against Dan Bongino has legions lapping the drama up.
The 75-year-old posted the above earlier today after Bongino posted his recurring message about Biden being the worst president in U.S. history (James Buchanan may disagree, considering his administration dithered and led to the Civil War). Bongino left Fox News last month due to what he said was a disagreement over a contract extension. While some people in King’s replies are pointing this out, others are saying the author — who has another adaptation of one of his stories coming out in the form of The Boogeyman next month — is somehow irrelevant, and, for Bongino, King’s post is little more than fodder for the next episode of his radio show.
King has not responded to the retort as of this story’s filing. In other sections of the discourse, fans of Bongino are going as far as to say he owned the It author with this post. King supporters, on the other hand, say Bongino clearly had his feelings hurt, and another says if King loathes Bongino and his ilk so much, then he should reconsider his posts which just amplify their social clout.
What Bongino will say on his radio show remains to be seen.
