Those who predominantly game on the go will be happy to hear that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be making its way to the PlayStation Vita. Although a handheld version of the Sony-themed brawler had been rumored, it just became official, thanks to a statement made by one of the game’s developers during its publisher’s E3 press conference.

After the announcement came a live demo, where four players battled against each other on a Ratchet & Clank themed map. Their session showcased the game’s energy meter, which allows for special moves to be pulled off when filled. If you fill it once and decide against using your ability, it will fill again, providing the option to use a level 2 special.

Following the above-mentioned demo, two new characters were announced: Nathan Drake from Uncharted and a Big Daddy from BioShock.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be out this holiday season.
