It seems like Sonic fans may get a chance to try Sonic Generations before it spins onto store shelves. A listing found on the Australian Classifications Board’s website details a demo for the game. The odd thing is that it also features a family friendly G rating. Normally, demos aren’t rated, so this means that it could be some sort of paid product or (more likely,) that it will be included with another Sega product.
Sonic Generations sees the classic version of the famous blue hedgehog teaming up with the more recent iteration of the character, via two different types of gameplay. The retro hedgehog will get to side-scroll and platform his way through two-dimensional levels that harken back to the Genesis days, whereas his modern companion will spin through three-dimensional worlds. It sounds like an interesting mixture.
