According to an MP1st report, several images and video gameplay footage has been leaked to the Internet showing what appears to be all-new multiplayer maps for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s September DLC drop. The unconfirmed assets, which were originally posted by Youtube user Gamecheat13, reveal a total of three new maps; Gulch, Parish and Boardwalk.
The video footage of the maps was removed shortly after it was posted, however, it was up long enough for screenshots to be captured that give us a good idea as to what to expect from the three rumored maps. Gulch takes place in a Utah mining settlement, and has a desert-type environment. Parish is set around a cathedral in a worn torn city. Finally, Boardwalk features a… boardwalk, with gift shops, bars, and a closed restaurant that appears to specialize in pork dishes.
You can check out screenshots of the leaked Modern Warfare 3 DLC maps in our gallery below. Additionally, a NeoGAF thread has more of the images, and you can still catch a glimpse of some of the Parish gameplay footage in GameSpot’s latest episode of Star/Select.
Keep in mind that none of these alleged Modern Warfare 3 assets has been confirmed by Activision, and they should all officially be considered rumors until they are. With that said, try and act surprised when Activision officially announces the new maps in a few weeks.
