A scary situation took place at Steve Aoki‘s concert on Sunday in Norway, where the roof of the venue collapsed and injured fifteen concertgoers.
Luckily, according to police, none of the injuries that occurred at the Sentrum Scene in Oslo were reported as serious. Still, Aoki addressed his sadness over the incident on his Twitter and gave his best wishes to those affected:
I am saddened and shocked that a piece of the roof collapsed in an accident at the venue in Oslo tonight. My thoughts are with those injured, and I wish them a speedy recovery.
This incident is just one of the few venue-related accidents that have taken place this summer. Earlier this month, a barricade at a Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg show in New Jersey toppled over, leading to more than 40 injuries.
Aoki is currently in the midst of his massive world tour that will send him back to the United States in the middle of September. He’s also celebrating the release of his Netflix-exclusive documentary, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead. The documentary, which was three years in the making, chronicles the life of the DJ and debuted on August 19th.
