While the console versions of the Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City outbreak virus is set to spread on March 20, its PC counterpart will be kept at bay until May 18.
Capcom just sent out a new press release for that specific version of its upcoming team-based shooter to clarify that date, also taking the time to add in some important technical details. The game will include Nvidia 3D Vision support, alongside “stunning high-resolution visual effects.” They’ve promised that the spring release will be up to par with its console partners, launching with eight-player online multiplayer and four-player co-op.

A terrifying third force, zombies and B.O.W.’s, add to the carnage as players execute brutal kills on their enemies and tactically use the third force to their advantage, utilizing them as a shield against the opposing team.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be launching in North America on March 20 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version shortly after on May 18
