If you’re as ashamed of yourself for liking G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself & I” as I am, this is only gonna make it worse. Oliver Heldens has revealed that he’s got his own remix of the radio-dominating track in the works, and that thing pops.
Heldens made a series of snaps, later posting them as a montage on his Facebook page:
New remix… \ 😀 /

Bebe Rexa’s iconic vocal finds itself pitch bent and rearranged to an infectious melody in Heldens’ version. Rave piano chords and frequency modulated bass tones trade off underscoring the other production elements in a way that screams Oliver Heldens – even though I can’t help but be onboard.
After all, Heldens isn’t the only electronic music producer to recognize the original’s remix value. Lost Kings did their own as well, and it wasn’t half bad either.
Oliver Heldens has yet to announce a release date for his remix of G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself & I,” but once he does you can rest assured that I’ll begrudgingly be all over it.
