Suicide Squad has secured its place over the last several months as one of the most hyped movies of summer 2016, due in no small part to Jared Leto’s anticipated performance as The Joker. As the film’s release looms closer, we now have some confirmation regarding the soundtrack that will accompany it. Apparently, Skrillex is set to appear on the track list with his Rick Ross collaboration, which was previously heard in a live bootleg.
The ID features Ross’s aggressive rhymes, set to a rowdy backing track from the “Scary Monsters” producer himself. Unlike a number of the rap collabs we’ve heard from Skrillex in recent memory, Sonny indulges in the high-octane bass programming here that first made him a star in the dance music scene.
Not only will the Skrillex/Rick Ross track feature on the film’s soundtrack, but BatmanNews.com reported that Leto was in Miami to star in the music video as his version of The Joker. If the rumors pan out, this will surely make for one of the craziest EDM videos yet.
