Last year, Jack Ü ran a train on the music world. Still, apart from being half of the super-duo, Diplo’s work with MØ on “Kamikaze” and “Lean On” went on to captivate the hearts and minds of millions. And while Jack Ü’s debut album was filled with crossbred songs and supergroup collaborations, there was a noticeable lack of MØ’s presence on the list of contributors, leaving us scratching our heads.
Now, thanks to Twitter, we’ve been offered a peek at the inevitable Jack Ü feat. MØ production. The clip lends a glimpse of the unreleased track, “Ü Know,” filmed by Diplo ogling the camera as it pans to reveal MØ lurking in the background. The audio features a beachside guitar strumming below a pitched violin melody, doubtlessly channeling more of the funk found in last year’s album.
Overall, the atmosphere ends up somewhere between Jack Ü and Major Lazer, with MØ’s crooning vocals to complete the piece. Whatever the track ends up being, we’re sure going to like it.
