Right now, Andrew Tate (best known for talking about women like your 11-year-old relative who has spent way too much time on Reddit) is in trouble. Romanian authorities have charged him and his fellow “influencer” brother with a litany of alleged crimes like rape and human trafficking. The so-called “alpha” has been silent on the potential for actual consequences, and, before this, he appeared on the reality television format where most of his “fans” are also likely to tune in to via the U.K.’s Big Brother.
For those unaware, the British-American was not yet a household name among horrible people when he was on the 17th series of the show in 2016. According to his official profile on the wiki for the “reality” game show franchise, Tate believes he was removed from the house due to unaired altercations with others there alongside him and not due to pornographic content of him leaking to the public as was publicly floated at the time. He has theorized his background as a kickboxer led the studio to fear him escalating disputes with others, and now many are wondering just how they can watch this ridiculous donkey’s past.
While reality television of this sort is generally a flash in the pan and not often revisited by the studios which produce and own it, there are at least a few options in this instance depending on where you want to go and who you want to lend your support to. Fan accounts on YouTube have uploaded snippets, and in some cases, complete episodes of this installment of the show, there is a fan site which seems to have archived all past episodes in the U.K. and where versions of the show exist in other countries and, while some American seasons can be found on Amazon, it does not appear offerings from overseas are accessible to people at this time.
A new report from the BBC says Tate’s trial will not begin immediately and is expected to last several years. Given the strength of the allegations against him, it just may be likely he will end up confined in a new building with strangers soon. Though, this time there may not be an early release, and at the end of the day, there will be no prize for him to walk away with. Separate charges also under investigation at this time include money laundering and the purported trafficking of minors.
