It’s official! Dawnguard will be the first downloadable content pack released for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and it’s expected to become available sometime this summer. This information was announced by Bethesda Softworks today, although not much else was said. The company did, however, mention that the add-on will be headed to the Xbox 360, and that more information will be made available at E3.
Files found inside of the role-playing behemoth’s last patch hinted towards this announcement, so there’s a lack of surprise to be found here. Still, this is great news for any controller-wielding dragon fighter who has yet to get his fill of the epic RPG. Surely, there are millions who fit into that category.
Today also saw the release of a new patch for Skyrim, which added over 200 Kinect-enabled voice commands into the Xbox 360 version of the game. Now, you’ll have reason to become fluent in dragon tongue.
