Every other day, another electronic music festival releases 2016 announcements. Apparently Bestival Toronto is next on the list, as its organizers have revealed a 2015 aftermovie alongside the announcement of a new location.
2015 marked the first edition of Bestival Toronto after the flagship festival which took place on the Isle of Wight, England saw a decade of success. As can be gleaned from the aftermovie, the Toronto adaptation itself made for a memorable occasion. Crowd, aerial and performance shots are set to the track “Save Me” by Keys N Krates in this exhilarating montage.
As far as the 2016 edition is concerned, it will take place at Woodbine Park in Toronto, Ontario. DJ/producer and festival curator Rob Da Bank commented:
Our first international Bestival jaunt last year in Toronto was one of the highlights of my festival career. I still can’t believe how Toronto totally got what we’re all about straight off the bat, so I’m super-excited we’re heading back with a cracking new site, some incredible headliners and a stellar supporting cast to sprinkle our Bestival magic across the pond once again. A massive thanks to everyone in Toronto for supporting the cause and we will make it a Bestival to remember!
Bestival Toronto will take place from June 11th-12th. Check back often for official lineup announcements as the event itself approaches.
