There’s nothing like becoming a fan of Paramount’s number one series, Yellowstone. A hopeful for this season of America’s Got Talent summed up the experience in a perfectly timed comedic bit during the season premiere.

When you first sit down to watch the series, there’s a healthy level of intrigue that’s soon followed by the pursuit of second-guessing every decision you’ve ever made and becoming your own version of a Dutton cowboy yourself. Do you need to cash in your wardrobe and start wearing cowboy hats? Is it time to trade the two-door car for a truck and cowboy boots? Are we all supposed to be crafting our own gritty southern drawl?

According to Orlando Leyba, one automatically knows what to do when the time comes, and for him, it was a special invitation that took him from ordinary man to Dutton stand-in.

While his entire skit was phenomenal, the real selling point was the way Leyba described becoming Costner as he stepped off the plane and onto the “land” of Yellowstone for the first time. It was an all-encompassing feeling that took over his body and gave him a line of sight directly through Costner’s very own John Dutton eyes.

“She got me into that show Yellowstone. I love that show. Yeah, it’s a great show, but I feel like less of a man every time that I watch. Should I buy a truck? I feel like I should buy a truck. For those that don’t know, Yellowstone is a TV show about a cattle ranch run by the bodyguard himself, Kevin Costner. Yeah, a man. A man — right? The writing is great. The acting is excellent, but the visuals of Yellowstone are amazing. Yellowstone, the park, looks amazing. So imagine my excitement when my buddy Eric invited me to his wedding.”

Continuing the joke, Leyba’s voice cracked with excitement when he described responding to Eric’s wedding invite at the location he’d been spending all of his time dreaming of. From there, it was goodbye Orlando, hello John Dutton.

“Where?
In Yellowstone, are you coming?
Oh, I’m there. I’ve been watching the show.

The second I landed, guys, I got it. This place was so beautiful. So majestic. I understood Kevin Costner. Shoot. I became Kevin Costner. By the third day, I was telling people to get off my land, ‘Get off my land!’

Sure, it was in the hotel courtyard, but that’s the way that I felt.

I couldn’t stop saying ‘Go on. Get! You go on — get. You go on get from that cucumber water, sir. You’ve had enough of our minerals!'”

The audience was in stitches as Leyba perfectly transformed into the cowboy we’ve grown to love, and it was the perfect reminder amid a lot of Yellowstone drama that there is something larger-than-life about the series, something that captivates as much as it transports you out of the mundane and into the high-stakes way of life that is being a Dutton.

You can now watch all five seasons of Yellowstone streaming on Peacock, so you too can practice saying ‘Go on, get’ to your heart’s content, preparing for the day you step foot on Dutton land yourself. Here’s to always thinking of Leyba and Costner when you hear those three words from here on out; you know what to do next. Go on — get!
