Marshmello has secured his place in the EDM world as one of the most hyped DJs around, proving how effective a little mystery can be at getting the word out. Now, the Jet puffed producer has made a major announcement, revealing that he would be joining the ranks of one of dance music’s most beloved record labels – Monstercat.
The announcement follows a similar one from last month, when Marshmello’s protege and fellow mystery musician Slushii joined the Monstercat family.
Monstercat began teasing the arrival of their newest artist when they Tweeted on May 9 that some big news was on the way, which was later revealed during Monstercat Podcast 105. Following the announcement, Marshmello premiered a new track “Alone,” which is set to be released on Friday May 13.
