Lady Gaga will be headlining New York City radio station Z100’s Jingle Ball 2011 concert on Friday, December 9th at Madison Square Garden. Pop singer and actress Demi Lovato, who will also be a featured performer at the annual holiday show, helped make the lineup announcement on October 21st at the official kickoff party at the Aeropostale store in Times Square.
Lovato, who also sang four songs at the party, including her hit single Skyscraper, told MTV News before the event that she’s thrilled to be part of Jingle Ball, which will feature several other singers as well. The list includes Pitbull, LMFAO, producer David Guetta and Kelly Clarkson, who Lovato is happy to be performing alongside. Of being part of the line-up and sharing the stage with her idol, Lovato said:
I just know I’m performing at Jingle Ball and that I’m really excited…I used to go to her (Clarkson’s) concerts and now I’m performing with her!
Also on the set list are Gym Class Heroes, rock group Foster the People and up-and-coming pop-rock band Hot Chelle Rae.
Tickets for this year’s Z100 Jingle Ball go on sale November 1st, and with this year’s impressive line-up, the concert will surely sell out quickly.
