EDC Orlando is gearing up for a seriously massive event next month. The east coast edition of Electric Daisy Carnival revealed its impressive lineup at the end of August, showing off a stacked roster with artists like Alison Wonderland, Dash Berlin, NGHTMRE, Porter Robinson, Nero and many more slated to perform. Now, Insomniac is teasing some new updates to the main stage to really get the hype flowing.
The newly designed kineticTEMPLE stage was first unveiled at EDC Las Vegas earlier in the year, serving as a fresh update to the festival’s main stage. For Orlando, the stage has had a few fine tune adjustments made, including the removal of its center piece to draw more attention to its LED visual displays, while the side stage flares have been scaled back to accommodate the change in venue.
The circuitGROUNDS and neonGARDEN have received updates as well. The 360 degree format that was unveiled for circuitGROUNDS in Las Vegas has been adapted for EDC Orlando, and its 160 foot diameter stage equipped with over 1,000 pyrotechnic units will serve as the most ambitious design to be used at the Floridian festival to date. For the first time ever, neonGARDEN will be presented in a 150 foot tall circus tent, with an entire day dedicated to Insomniac’s trance brand Dreamstate.
