If you’re too burned out on modern pop music to keep up with every single track, perhaps listening one of DJ Earworm‘s impressive mashups would be a convenient way for you to get a more modest dosage of some of the biggest songs on the charts.
The mashup maestro has added a new installment to his annual “United States of Pop” series this week in the form of “50 Shades of Pop,” a mashup that clocks in at over five minutes and features samples from many of 2015’s biggest tracks.
Including the likes of Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding, The Weeknd, Drake and Adele, “50 Shades of Pop” bounces from artist to artist at a frenetic pace while managing to incorporate each sample, no matter how small it may be, into a cohesive whole that works as its own track. DJ Earworm has remarked that 2015’s chart-topping tracks have cast a wide net of influences, saying, “It’s a more eclectic mix than it was five years ago.”
Watch DJ Earworm‘s “50 Shades of Pop” video above to find out if your favorite pop tracks from 2015 were included in his genre-bending mashup.
