Bruno Mars Dodges Conviction In Cocaine Case

After a highly successful 2010, Bruno Mars starts 2011 on a good note by avoiding a felony in a case for possession of cocaine. TMZ reports that the "Nothin' On You" singer has cut a deal with Clark County District Attorney's Office in which he receives a "deferred adjudication." This means that if he's able to stay out of trouble for a year, as well as perform 200 hours of community service, there will be no conviction on his record.

After a highly successful 2010, Bruno Mars starts 2011 on a good note by avoiding a felony in a case for possession of cocaine. TMZ reports that the Nothin’ On You singer has cut a deal with Clark County District Attorney’s Office in which he receives a “deferred adjudication.” This means that if he’s able to stay out of trouble for a year, as well as perform 200 hours of community service, there will be no conviction on his record.

This charge stems from an October 2010 incident where he was found with powder cocaine.
