The character Quaz is described as a telepath in the Quantum Realm that attempts to fight alongside members of the Freedom Fighters group to defeat Kang the Conqueror.
Limited details surrounding Quaz’s character have been shared with the general public, namely if Quaz is the moniker for Marvel’s Quasar. Quasar, whose full name is Wendell Vaughn, derives his super powers of creating and manipulating energy from the Quantum Bands located on his wrists.
One of the few things that has been confirmed is that Quaz will appear in the third installment in the Ant-Man franchise titled Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. The person who portrays Quaz is actor William Jackson Harper. According to IMDB, prior to his role in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Harper has appeared in 44 other projects, including films and television shows.
Harper’s most notable roles are in 2016’s hit television series The Good Place, where he plays the character Chidi Anagonye. As far as the 43-year-old’s most recent work aside from the Ant-Man sequel, he is currently starring in the 2023 sci-fi film, Landscape with Invisible Hand.
In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, fans will see the adventures of Scott Lang (Ant-Man), Hope Van Dyne (Wasp), Cassie Lang, and the rest of the gang traveling through the Quantum Realm following a failed two-way radio experiment. Alongside Harper, the also stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jonathan Majors, Kathryn Newton, Bill Murray, Randall Park, Katy M. O’Brian, and many others.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will premiere in theaters globally on Feb. 17.
