That’s a stark contrast to the TV spots which have mostly reused the same scenes, though it’s worth noting that even this trailer only delivers extended versions of moments which have already been revealed. It’s becoming more and more apparent that there is so much more to Star Wars: The Force Awakens than any of us are expecting, and that is of course no bad thing.

With now just a week to go until the movie is released, avoiding spoilers shouldn’t be an issue until the 16th, which is when press screenings begin. Those should be easy enough to avoid, but regardless, Star Wars: The Force Awakens currently remains the most secretive and highly anticipated release of 2015, and we can hardly wait for it.

Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.
