Well that didn’t take very long. Just a few days after the first TV spot for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey premiered, here comes the second one hot on its heels, courtesy of Comic Book Movie.
The first TV spot had featured a decent amount of new footage, but this time around, it looks like the studio is cutting back on showing us bits that we hadn’t already seen. To be honest, I only noticed about two seconds or so worth of new footage, which was a snippet of Bilbo’s encounter with the trolls.
However, it’s hardly anything to complain about. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather go into the movie having not seen bits and pieces of every single scene, so I count it as a plus that Warner Bros. is restraining themselves as we get closer and closer to the release date.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which stars Martin Freeman, Sir Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, and Andy Serkis, arrives in theaters on December 14th.
