New How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World Trailer Soars Online

At long last, How To Train Your Dragon 3 - which will be subtitled The Hidden World - is about to take flight and spread its wings. It's been a long time coming, too, as the last entry in the franchise flew into theaters back in 2014 and it's only now that we're seeing the marketing machine ramp up for the much anticipated threequel. Promising another vibrant, colorful adventure, the preview certainly has us excited, as we see Hiccup and Toothless (who’s as adorable as ever) come together once again for what appears to be a journey to discover their true destines. Living up to the previous outings in this beloved series will certainly be tough, but if this latest promo is any indication, it sure looks as if we’re in for a real treat, with the footage offering up some gorgeous animation and a few genuinely funny moments that have us feeling optimistic for what’s to come.

In the eyes of director Dean DeBlois, The Hidden World is all about bringing a sense of closure to Hiccup’s journey, who must learn to handle grief and move on if he’s to become a worthy successor to his father Stoick. It’s taken an awful long time – too long, perhaps – for How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World to gain any sense of momentum, but with a firm release date now locked in, fans are no doubt counting down the days until March 1st, 2019.
